Traditional Russian handwoven basket made from birch bark by a very talented lady who lives in a small village near my place. They make these baskets and sell them off-line on fairs and festivals.
You see such basket on many of my pictures with spindles. This is exactly the same size I own. I've got my first basket from them 2 years ago and immediately fell in love with it, I use it instead of a project bag, taking my spinning/knitting everywhere I go. It's so attractive and will serve you a lifetime.
